A jungle baby shower is a lot of fun, and Maisa of Creating Priceless Memories and her mother/business partner Carmen worked with this theme to create a picturesque party. It had plenty of adorable animals going wild to welcome the new baby boy.
The main buffet table has a troop of cute monkeys going bananas over the delicious dessert spread. The setting is simple, but incorporates several elements of the jungle. The delectable treats are spread on a table which is set against a background of branches, leaves and flowers encased in a fabric covered vase of orange cheetah print on cream. The bunting has been printed with brown on yellow, and is set on a zebra print, bringing more jungle fun into the picture. You can see little animals peeking from various locations all over the table.
It is interesting how Maisa has used monkeys to not only hold up candy, but she also has younger monkeys hanging from the branches and having fun. The bright colored sweets in yellow and orange remind us of the colors in a tropical jungle, while the pale blue cake wrapped in leopard print ribbon looks like a little swimming pool for the animals to splash in. Tall glass jars offer a clear view of the colorful contents.
While not a part of the baby shower, I found this super cute jungle theme invitation:
These edible party favors look tempting with white chocolate drizzled over brown to resemble the animal prints used throughout the party. The yellow satin ribbons render sophistication to the packaging while also making it pretty.
Pastel colored table covers in green and yellow liven up the neutral background of the room. Zebra print table runners and simple centerpieces with animal cartoons house balloons in tiger, zebra and cheetah prints in shades of orange, white and blue.
Here’s an interesting display of rock candy in bright shades of orange and yellow. Packed into a clear glass jar, they are a vibrant addition to the table, and are easy to pick up and eat too.
A furry friend shares chocolate whoopers with the guests. The labels are printed on yellow tape with a leopard print margin.
Here’s a spread of tempting banana parfaits, they are party food that go perfectly with this theme.
Here is a display of adorable cupcakes that are too good to eat. Lovable little animals make charming cupcake toppers. There is an interesting assortment of lions, tigers, giraffes, hippos and more wild animals on this stand. The cupcake covers are in leopard print and the idea of alternating the animal cupcakes with simple zebra-printed toppers ensure that the arrangement isn’t too crowded.
Maisa has done a brilliant job of making the entire arrangement fun and full of cute little elements that are perfect for a baby shower—I’m sure the lucky mother would have felt that the party was an adorable welcome for a precious baby boy!
