Who doesn’t love a Fourth of July celebration? With family, friends, barbecues, fireworks, and sparklers, there is something in it for everyone. To ensure your party is a huge success, you’ll want to leave guests with something to remember it by. Here are some ideas for fabulous “Fourth” favors that are fun for people of all ages!
- 4th of July favor mints: These come in a tin that can be personalized for your party. Whether you want a standard American flag or a more individualized picture, you can also include the date and a small message for guests. This way, after meals, or even if they’re out with friends, they can take out these portable mints and remember the wonderful holiday celebration you threw. (If you like the idea but not the mint candies, you can also order these favors filled with sour apple candy or even gum.)
- Trinket holders: These custom glasses are perfect favors and can be filled with anything from miniature soaps to candy. Why not have these festive holders serve as table decorations as well? Order one clear holder per guest and fill them with red, white, and blue M&M’s, then place them at each table setting. Everyone will be excited to take the “decorations” home with them. Just be sure you don’t place them in direct sunlight, as the M&M’s could melt!
Chocolate star lollipops: Just like with the American flag, stars make everyone feel patriotic. These edible favors are a crowd favorite, and you can tie red and blue ribbons around the plastic surrounding them. Then, on each ribbon, have the date of your party printed in white ink. (Or personalize the message to say something like “Happy 4th of July from the Wilson Family!”) You may want to have extras on hand at the door for guests to grab as they leave, for there is no guarantee the delicious lollipops will make it through the entire party.
Silver star candles: As with the lollipops, the shape of these favors alone is celebratory. However, rather than an edible favor, this option is for home decoration. The candles come in beautiful clear plastic boxes and are sealed with a silver bow. (You can also include a card that you have personalized and tied to the bow.) Guests can then display these candles in their homes and will remember your party every time they glance at the candle.
