A party with a camping theme is always fun, and it is even more exciting when planned as thoughtfully as Donna Collins of Party Wishes did. Let us look at the wonderful ideas she put into action.
Main Buffet: The main buffet is original and has a rustic charm with muted colors of green and grey contrasting with rich red. The red and green combination is the main color theme and the grey background is barely there. Bright red vintage camp lanterns spruce up the color and stand out against the grey. The treats on the table are packed into galvanized steel buckets and glass jars, and are arranged in perfect camping style. A camping party is not complete without s’mores. And, Donna has added them in with an inventive touch. This tiered arrangement of s’mores on beds of grass is incredible and interesting. This arrangement of wonderful treats also doubles as a beautiful center piece. The little details like the addition of pinecones make this arrangement unique.
Here’s a bright red popcorn maker to treat the campers to fresh popcorn. The pinecones beside it, the little green camping sign and the plaid covered flask complete the remarkable arrangement. The jute sack beneath the popper is also a great idea.
Personalized party boxes tied with printed red scarves have a casual air about them, and yet are ingenious place settings. Everyone gets to keep their scarf, and this is a fun way to make them part of the décor too.
This idea is brilliant. The outdoors has been brought indoors with the hanging branches and leaves. They make a bright canopy with the buntings in green and red. The whole arrangement creates the perfect atmosphere for a camping party.
The table runner is covered with twigs bursting with fresh green leaves that look merry and perfectly match the color theme. They enhance the vibrant red scarves and add to the rustic look.
The treats are an assortment of dried fruits, berries and nuts. The campers can create their own trail mix from cashews, raisins, dried cranberries, Apple Chips, almonds, dried pineapples, peanuts and more. Pinecones and upturned bamboo baskets are delightful additions that add texture to the arrangement on the table.
The party favors are a collection of s’more ingredients in clear bags and sealed with a colorful label. They are stacked together in wooden boxes. What a great idea to allow the happy campers take some of fun from the party with them.
We are certain that everyone who attended this party went home a happy camper. Great job Donna, and thank you for sharing the pictures with us.
