July 4th Favors

July 4th Favors

My crafty friend Kristin has created some fantastic and inexpensive July 4th favors.    She generously allowed me to post photos of them and provided all the details so that you can make them.

Contents:   Red and blue candy, stickers, a glow bracelet and a necklace that has bubble liquid.

Details from Kristin:

  • I bought the candy at BJs. There were 18 pieces in the box, which was just the number I needed, and with a coupon the box was about $8.   (BJ’s is a wholesale club like Sam’s Club and Costco.)
  • I bought the glow bracelets at Target, $1 for a box of 15.
  • The little necklaces (which are bubbles with a blower) were $3 for a bag of 12.
  • Got the bag of foam stickers for $1 and used them to decorate the bags and then put the extras in the bags.

Kristin’s red, white and blue theme favors were individually wrapped in a clear cellophane bag and placed in a box covered with wrapping paper.  She probably got it from the warehouse where she bought the candy.  What a great idea for a display!  The box sits atop of a pretty red, white and blue table runner.  These favors are great for a July 4th picnic, patriotic birthday party, or red, white, and blue theme event.    At a price of around a dollar each, you can give them to all of your guests without breaking the bank.

Other July 4th favors include:

Fire Cracker Trinket Holders with Custom Message – We sell stemless wine glasses that are more often used as a keepsake to store small items.  They are great favors for both kids and adults.

Cookies – Find your favorite sugar cookie recipe bake cookies either from scratch or with store bought dough.    It is easy to find cookie cutters in the shape of either a rectangle or star.  The rectangular cookies can be decorated to resemble a flag with red, white and blue icing.  The star cookies can have a design of your choice on them.
