Climb aboard the safari bus! Its time to prowl through the pictures of Brett’s first jungle theme birthday party, hosted by Brittany of GreyGrey Designs.
The buffet is spread across an unusual light blue leopard print backdrop which amplifies the colors in the rest of the decor. The birthday bunting and labels are printed in a really adorable “Jungle Juice” font. There are plenty of animals at the party, and they peep out of cupcakes, puddings, cakes and even parade across the raffia screen below the table. The grass mats beside the blue surface replicate the scene at a rivers through a cartoon jungle. Pomanders in pale blue and leopard print hung beside the buntings add the finishing touch to an interesting backdrop.
A variety of adorable fondant animals are used as cupcake toppers. The cute animal faces peeping through pale blue frosting are precious! They are arranged in two tiers on a custom made cupcake stand that was created from ordinary cardboard boxes and wrapping paper.

Little zebra cakes served on skewers look extra cute behind the wooden zebra in a basket.
Brittany has made a masterpiece of the banana puddings. Her idea of wrapping the spoons with leopard print crepe paper makes it an interesting display. The crates are covered with animal print scrapbook paper to enhance the jungle look.
These Gorilla grapes on skewers topped with strawberries are an abundance of color—such a fun item that every child would be tempted to reach for!
Jungle juice is served to the guests in wild style. Gingerale and pineapple juice in a glass beverage dispenser complete with animal print ribbon and topped with a bow of raffia make a befitting addition to the table.
Placed atop a leopard print sheet, the beverage dispenser shares space with the party favors. The arrangement is very natural. Note the customized birthday hat in animal print and pompoms.
Fondant animals swim in a pristine white pool, that has an earthy chocolatey border—what a beautifully created birthday cake!
Look at these clever party favors—little boxes filled with animal crackers are held up by little stuffed animals and labelled with thank you notes printed on a pastel background. This is picture perfection!
Everything about this party, from the decorations to the desserts and party favors are lively and perfectly match the jungle safari theme. Brittany deserves to be appreciated for the effort she’s put in to make every detail perfect. Little Brett and his parents would definitely have had an awesome day!
