Kids Golf Party

Kids Golf Party

A great spring or summer celebration theme, hosting a kid’s golf party can be great fun for both children and adults.   There are so many opportunities for activity, whether it be taking everyone to a put-put golf course to creating a mini fairway in your back yard.   Ashley, from Pinwheel Lane was nice enough to allow me to share  her many ideas from golf theme games and crafts, to printables that she sells on her Etsy Shop.    Here they are:

Golf Activities: Activities are key to a successful kid’s party, as children have a way of creating their own, and it often doesn’t end well.   Ashley created a wonderful home golf course that will allow your little ones to release their energy while having a great time.    It has 4 1/2 holes, representing the birthday boy’s age and his name Gage.

Created for little ones, the holes are a bit closer than on a traditional range, but there is still challenge and fun involved.

Pinwheel flowers and flags marking each hole are great touches to this fabulous little course.

The grand finale is “Fort Gage” honoring the birthday boy, Gage.

And now its time for the golf pros to show us how it’s done.

And…if a mini golf course isn’t enough, Ashley set up a craft table for kids to create their own golf visor.  She offered lots of foam stickers in plastic bowls, so parents don’t have to worry about messy clothes…until cake and ice cream time.  You can also see toy golf bags with clubs in the background as well as decorated water bottles.   What generous favors!

Golf Cake and Cupcakes: These beauties incorporate the argyle design and look almost too good to eat.

The detail on the cupcakes is amazing with realistic looking grass, a ball, cute flag printables by 505 Design + Paperie, and a blue and white striped cupcake liner.

Golf Food and Drinks:  Ashley shows that you can serve just about any food, as long as you have a clever golf name for each one.  Here are some of my favorites:  “Watermelon Slice,” “Fruit PAR faits, and ” Chip Shots” (Cheap Shots).  The food signs are also by by 505 Design + Paperie.

Golf Drinks: Quench your guests’ thirst with a variety of juices, pop, lemonade, water, or any drink.  The cute flags and posts really dress up any drink table.

Golf  Theme Printables: The good news for you is that Ashley sells a variety of  printables that are featured on this post.  Simply visit her Etsy Store and you are on  your way to creating your own kid’s golf party.
