Pink Owl Baby Shower

Pink Owl Baby Shower

Pretty pink owls were the theme of the baby shower that Jenny of Wright by Me created for her sister-in-law. The pretty pictures of the event, that Jenny shared with us are really delightful. Let us take a look at this perfect party.

The centrepieces are jars of white and pink blossoms with twigs added for a rustic look. Jenny made this darling owl in pink and tan to add an extra dose of cuteness to the setting. The owls and the tiny nests that are part of the flower arrangement make it spectacular.

Handmade sugar scrub in little mason jars covered with pink cloth and tied with twine are elegant party favors.

This cake could be easily mistaken for actual bundles of diapers. It is so original, and the pink owl perched on top dozes comfortably. The detailing like the little stars on each diaper, the pink satin bows and the burlap are charming additions that make this cake exquisite.  The whole arrangement sits on a delicate feathery base of pink.

This owl candy is beautifully incorporated into the décor. It is placed in a twig basket and set beside a twig wreath. A simple burlap bow adds that special touch to make it stand out.

If you don’t wish to do DIY favors, here are some cute owl guest gifts from Cute Favors (silver bottle opener) and Cool Party Favors (candy jar)

S’more pops made from marshmallows coated with chocolate and crushed graham crackers.

What a beautiful arrangement of cupcakes. Baby owls in pink and tan, as well as burlap and lace flowers with pink buttons make interesting cupcake toppers. Every one of them has been designed with so much effort and love.

Here’s a real fun game for a baby shower. The guests are tested on their knowledge of baby animal names. The questions are printed on white card and placed into soft napkins in pink silk.

This is an adorable little owl that Jenny created from scratch. She wrapped styrofoam with yarn to make this marvellous little owl that adds beauty to the setting.

There couldn’t be as many owls in the wild, as you would spot at Jenny’s party. She has spared no detail, and even the lanterns contain owls.

The entire seating arrangement is pristine and pretty in white and pink. The tables are well-spaced and welcoming, drawing every décor element into focus.

Here’s a wonderful way to share wishes, prayers and advice from all the guests with the mother. They are written on circular cards and hung on branches which are held in place by a ceramic owl in pure white. What a wonderful way to make the lucky mother-to-be feel blessed.

Jennie has done an extraordinary job with making a special baby shower for her sister-in-law. Her excitement and happiness for the baby to arrive reflects in the effort she’s made to create the perfect party. We thank her for sharing the pictures of this cheerful event with us, and teaching us that owls can be a fun party theme.
