If you are looking for a theme for a boy that is out of this world, why not throw a space birthday party? Connie from Candy Land Buffets created a masterful celebration fit for any future astronaut. Here are some of the great photos from her event. I really like the sheer star fabric draped across the ceiling, the hanging rocket ship and the white curtain with aliens.
Space Theme Food – Candy Land Buffets incorporated the space theme into each of the sweets. You can see a variety of colorful food as well as a beautiful cake with a number “2” which takes center stage.
Space Party Ideas – At first I thought that the desserts on a stick shown below were ice cream bars. When I couldn’t see any signs of melting, I checked out the Candy Land Buffets Facebook page, with all of the party details. It was then that I realized that these chocolate treats are actually covered Milky Way bars with star sprinkles. What a creative idea to bring in this constellation!
Outer Space Birthday Party Candy – Keeping with the outer space theme, check out the Milky Way Stars and Chocolate Asteroids. The white stand bordered with red ribbon and a sparkly star are great touches. You will notice that the treats are displayed at different heights to make the table visually interesting.
Who would have thought that french macaroons could also serve as “Blue Moon Macaroons” on a stick. The rocket ship signs identifying each dessert are a nice touch.
These alien cake pops are so funny!
While the adults ooooo and ahhh over the dessert table, the kids had the chance to color pages with rocket ships, aliens, planets and more.
Finally, a lovely way to say thank you to guests is with a goodie bag. Simple red bags with star and mini cards attached with colored clothespins really dress up any item inside of them.
This great party is just one of many created by Candy Land Buffets. You will have to check out the company Facebook page for lots of ideas for both fun and elegant occasions.
Space Invitations – Whether you are looking for birthday invitations with a rocket, alien, galaxy of stars, or even your child’s photo on it, here are some great options I found on Tiny Prints. My favorite ones showcase the guest of honor with a photo. They serve as great items for a scrap book after the party is over.
