Tabletop Entry by Bonnie Belvedere, Sheena Luther, and Tracy Round

The mystical Otzarreta forest located deep in the Basque Country of Spain inspired Bonnie Belvedere,  Sheena Luther and Tracy Round when they designed their tabletop entry for the NACE Tabletop WOW competition, 2016.  The tabletop entry was the recreation of an autumn forest scene, with a moss-lined table and embellishments with lovely details in changing fall colors. Take a look at the pictures of this enchanting entry and you will see how unique it really was!

moss

A true image of Zen, the table has been transformed into a forest scene with its green moss cover and other rustic décor elements. The centerpiece resembles an autumnal forest tree, one which has shed most of its leaves. With wooden rings at the place settings, scattered pine cones and fallen leaves, this setting brings back memories of camping out in the woods.

Here is a closer look at a place setting. How clever is the idea of using a wooden ring in the base of the arrangement! The invitation suite and the dinner plate are embellished with fall prints.  Details like the jagged twig-like napkin ring and the silk napkin add the befitting finishing touches to the arrangement.

Christmas
Flowers and succulents are arranged in silver and crystal vases. The vivid red and orange fall colors contrast with muted grays, greens and browns in the arrangement. Flickering tea lights illuminate the table setting at various places, while strewn pine cones and leaves make the scene authentic.

pinecone
Notice how the grays and browns in the flower arrangement subtly mute the bright reds and orange colors. The variety of textures and elements make this an exquisite display that is in-keeping with the theme.

snowflake
No attention to detail is spared, as you can see here. Leaves in beautiful autumnal colors of yellow, red and green spread over an original moss-lined tree trunk, making it a brilliant accessory.

birds
Rustic ornaments like this nesting bird on an empty branch add further finesse to the spectacular scene.
